A childhood dream was fulfilled in 1996 when a group of bred heifers were purchased in high school as a FFA project. That dream quickly became a reality and ultimately our way of life. Today, Rodgers Livestock is a family operation focused on breeding high quality cattle and working with top notch families and individuals. Our cattle are bred to compete at the highest level but that isn't our only priority. We also hope our cattle serve as a catalyst for young people and ignite their passion for agriculture, just as it did for us.

Over the years, our program has evolved based on the needs of our customers. Our focus will always include improving the quality of our own cattle, yet the goals of our customers continues to shape our direction. Winning shows, improving genetics and marketing assistance are all part of the business today and regardless of your need, our program is customer driven.

We have established two sales to market our cattle and offer an outlet for our customers. Our first sale in the fall is the Rodgers Livestock & Associates Steer Sale, an opportunity to purchase our very best steers and market heifers. The second sale, also in the fall, is the RL Collection Female Sale which showcases show heifer and donor prospects, bred females and a select few bull prospects. These sales were created specifically for those who purchase semen from our bull battery or who purchase genetics in our RL Collection sale and are seeking an avenue to market their cattle.

Regardless of your objectives, we are passionate about this business and eager to help you succeed. Please feel free to contact us anytime. We really enjoy talking about the cattle business.

Time and time again, what keeps us returning to do business with Rodgers Livestock is not only great cattle, but great people. While the show industry changes and evolves each year, what has remained constant for us is not only the honesty and integrity of the Rodgers Livestock program, but their ability to supply high quality livestock that can compete at any level.
